Alternate Disinfection Techniques
MECP Director Approved 0.3 CEU, 3 hour course
This course introduces attendees to a number of disinfection options – other than chlorine.
Discussion will take place regarding the advantages and disadvantages of ultra violet (UV), ozone (O3), on-site hypochlorite generation, chlorine dioxide and the “family” of processes known as advanced oxidation.
At the conclusion of this course, attendees will have a better understanding of the processes mentioned above and be in a better position to make operational decisions regarding the best method for their particular application.
